Kitchen Expansion/Remodel

These homeowners came to Cornerstone looking for design solutions as well as wanting to remodel their kitchen. They felt the powder room was too small, and disliked the traditional Colonial layout with the dining room entirely separate from the kitchen. By reconfiguring existing space, the powder room was enlarged, the kitchen was opened up into the dining room, and even the formerly small doorway into the den off a hallway was opened up. The den is now accessed through a large doorway off of the dining area. The homeowners are thrilled with the resulting warm, functional center of family life, exclaiming "We spend so much time in the kitchen now. We love it!" | |
